Monopole operators and symmetry enhancement in ABJM theory revisited

We construct monopole operators for 3d Yang-Mills-matter theories and Chern-Simons-matter in canonical formalism. In this framework, operators, although as the disorder could be written terms of fundamental fields theory, thus treated same way ordinary operators. study properties constructed theories, transform local with classical conformal dimension $ 0 under action dilation are also covariantly constant. supersymmetric like ABJM model, commute all supercharges, SUSY invariant. model level k=1,2 is expected to have enhanced $SO(8) R-symmetry due existence conserved extra currents j^{AB}_{\mu} involving monopoles. With explicit form given, we prove current conservation equation $\partial^{\mu} =0$ using equations motion. compute \mathcal{N}=2 derive transformation rules, verify closure \mathcal{N}=8 supersymmetry.
